A Very Bill Murray Moment
I've often suspected that Bill Murray's real life is a lot like one of his Wes Anderson characters. And Bill racing drunk through Stockholm on a golf cart only confirms my belief.
Not that drunk driving is ever a good thing to do, but this is definitely a Steve Zissou moment. The fact that he could face jail time, even more so.
I don't mean to laugh at this, but it's, uhm, kinda funny. A golf cart. In Sweden! I'm sorry it's funny. It just is.
Bill Murrey could face drunken driving charges
In other news, CNN World is going nutso advertising their "God's Warriors" series. If you happen to catch the episode about Islam, you'll get to see a whole bunch of shots of The Hague - most of the exterior scenes in Holland were taken near my apartment. In case you were wondering what it looks like here. The only inconsistency is that it's sunny in most of the shots.

Max: How are you?
Blume: Mmm, I'm a little bit lonely these days.
If he was just slowly meandering down the lane with that classic Bill Murray look of despair, then definitely Blume. But it if was a kind of manic zig zag of spits and starts, then I thought of Zissou. Also, Blume was much better at seeming respectable to anyone other than Max and Zissou was a mess to the world.
