... is pretty long in Holland.
I took this photo at about 5:00am CET yesterday, missing the actual sunrise by about 20 minutes. B- tried to wake me earlier, but I wasn't about to get up before the alarm.
I took this photo at about 11:05pm CET last night. Unfortunately the first day of summer was cold and rainy, so the day didn't seem as long as usual. When it's nice, you can almost read outside around 11.
Because Holland is situated around the same longitude line as Nova Scotia, Canada the changes in the amount of daylight is actually perceptible day by day. There's a huge difference between the sun going down at 3pm and 11pm after all.
